Established in 1876, the Belfast Boat Club stands as one of Northern Ireland’s most historic and prestigious multi-sport venues, set in the scenic surroundings of Stranmillis along the River Lagan. By converting one of its twelve traditional tennis courts into three purpose-built padel courts—two covered and one open-air—it became the first tennis club in Northern Ireland to formally integrate padel into its sporting repertoire.
